Infrared Asphalt Repair
Has your parking lot developed potholes or other damaged asphalt areas? We can fix it here at Love’s with a new innovative method of patching called infrared asphalt repair. This asphalt patching process works by reheating an existing section of asphalt and raking it down approximately 2 inches. You then add enough brand new asphalt to bring the damaged asphalt up to level, and rake and recompact the new area. This makes a nice, new, seamless patch. These patches come in 5 feet by 7 feet dimensions. These asphalt patches can be grouped together for larger areas.
Asphalt Crack Sealing or Asphalt Crack Fill
Do you have open cracks in your parking lot? Water will flow into your open cracks and under your asphalt creating larger cracks and more cracks overall. This also causes a soft subbase and can lead to costly patch work and repair. We use a 400 degree rubberized crackfill material, designed for the Colorado climate, that is poured into the cracks and smoothed over with a squeegee. This keeps the water out of the cracks, greatly extending the life of your asphalt parking lot.
Parking Lot Seal Coating
As asphalt ages it begins to grey and oxidize. The loss of oils in the asphalt causes your parking lot to deteriorate by losing fines that hold the aggregate in place. The aggregate begins to slowly pop out, causing small holes in your parking lot. This is referred to as raveling. We provide a high quality oil based asphalt seal coating product that penetrates and reintroduces the oils and binders that are the glue to your asphalt parking lot or driveway. Most seal coats lay on top of your asphalt and do not reintroduce oils and binders that penetrate the top layer of pavement. This is why we use high end oil based asphalt seal coating products, as opposed to the water based products.
